Club Championship Show 2007
Dog Eye Examinations
Excellent results were again achieved at the Eye Testing at the Club Show in March 2007.

Only one animal out of 82 examined showed signs of inherited ocular disorder. This case was one of retinal dysplasia at a low level. The results continue the recent trend of apparent low levels of incidence of inherited eye disease in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels examined. It is only 10 years ago that more than 10% of animals examined showed signs of Inherited eye disease, so the current figures are very pleasing.

In general the results at Malvern Show mirror the results of Cavaliers I have examined at other venues in the past twelve months. I hope that these low levels of incidence will continue.
