CKCS HEALTH CLINIC The Club are holding another Health Clinic on the 27th September at Bagworth Community Centre, Bagworth, Leicestershire. This event is open to all breeds. Simon Swift, the Cardiologist, would also like to take blood from dogs that are under the following categories: - Dogs under 4 years with a loud murmur - Dogs under 8 years that have developed heart failure - Dogs over 8 years with no murmur or a very quite one If your dog comes into one of the above categories, please let Sylvia Lymer know on 01530 831020 Full Details can be found in the "Club Events" section. |

ESTIMATED BREEDING VALUES (EBVs)
A meeting was recently held at The Animal Heath Trust to discuss and advance the EBV programme being developed by Dr Sarah Blott.
The meeting was fortunate in that those attending included eminent people from AHT with extensive experience in the field of data collection and its analysis. These meeting notes have been produced jointly by the four breed club representatives who were nominated by the Liaison to attend, and prepared in consultation with Sarah Blott and Dr Jeff Sampson. The notes have been circulated to the Chairman of each breed club, for discussion, and placed on the Club website for the information of members. I hope that everyone will be encouraged by this progress and the unity demonstrated by all the clubs. Critiques We endeavour to publish ALL Championship Show critiques on Cavaliers. However if you are judging at a Cavalier Club show, limited or open, we would love to have your critique and publish for all to read. If you would like us to publish it just send it attached to an email to the Webmaster or by snail mail to Dave Norris. Unlike some of the Dog Press, we do not edit any critique, what the Judge sends us is what appears. |
