Minor Puppy (8 entries 0 absent)
1 Crozier’s Korraines the Gambler
7 month old tricolour with well-broken markings, full head, nice eyes, good outline with level top-line, moderate bone and nice chestnut points in the right places.
2 Korn’s Sandusk Monterey
6½ month old blenheim, pretty face, nice black pigment to nose, coat coming along nicely, short-coupled with level top-line. Quite heavily marked, shows real promise.
3 Waters’ Keyingham Prince Town
7 month old blenheim, clean well defined even face markings with lovely eyes. He has a nice coat to come, slightly longer in loin than 1 & 2.
Puppy (1, 0)
1 Rennard’s Deranmar the Kingmaker
10 month old blenheim boy in full coat for age. His coat markings are well broken up on pearly background. He has a nice head and eyes with good nose pigment. A good mover keeping a level top-line at all times.
Junior (5, 0)
1 Inglis’ Craigowl Billy Elliott
13½ month old tricolour with very rich chestnut points to all the required areas. The markings on his evenly patterned face are very crisp, clean and well defined; he has lovely coal black eyes and nose pigmentation. This boy moved very well with a truly level top-line and good for bone. A very nice dog for overall type, a worthy winner.
2 Lymer & Scheidt’s Lymrey Hi Octane
12½ month old blenheim dog whom I have admired from the ringside. He has an extremely pretty face with excellent nose pigment and large dark eyes. A very promising youngster who already has a wealth of coat, which was presented in first class condition. I just preferred the front movement of my winner of this class on the day.
3 Sheard & Price’s Almondene Endeavour
14 month old blenheim boy of a slightly larger type. Very stylish on the move keeping his top-line at all times. Large dark eyes and good ear featherings on this confident little chap.

2 Rennard’s Deranmar Michael
Best Puppy in Show
– 11 month old blenheim with rich well broken markings, large dark eyes in a full head with added benefit of a lozenge. Good for bone, a nice mover and shown well by his handler. This puppy and the winner of my puppy dog class are in good fit, firm condition.
3 Paterson’s Phrenchy Watshizname
14 month old blenheim dog with pretty face and large dark eye. Quite a heavily marked coat which is coming along well. Not as cobby as 1 & 2.

2 Vella’s Miletree Romeo at Cinderlace
17 month old small blenheim boy with well cushioned short muzzled face. He has lovely eyes and good pigment, a pretty dog. Very well handled and good for bone; unlucky to meet one in such lovely condition.
3 Rennard’s Deranmar Michael
See Maiden
Veteran (5, 3) Both of these dogs are a credit to their owners with their firmness of muscle, condition of coat and happy, willing temperament.
1 Sandlan’s Craigowl Crackpot at Arenkote
Best Veteran – 10¼ year old blenheim. This is a lovely fit dog in peak condition. He could have had more furnishings but he is short-coupled with a wonderful level top-line and good movement.
2 House’s Parkcote Vagrant at Triciaville
7¼ year old tricolour with lots of fringing and a very pretty head and large dark eyes. His chestnut markings are still very richly coloured and he is also in peak condition. Just not so true a mover as no. 1.
Special Post Graduate Tricolour or Blenheim (6, 0)
1 Baker’s Nevhill’s Roosevelt JW
Reserve BIS, Best Opposite Sex, Best Dog
- 2 year old blenheim with perfect body markings. The hugest of dark eyes in a lovely well cushioned face. Table top top-line, wonderful outline, and lovely shape. Masses of straight well groomed coat. Moved and showed extremely well. This little dog is one that really stands out in a crowd!
2 Sandlan’s Arenkote Firedance JW
2 year old heavily marked blenheim who also has lovely dark, large eyes in a handsome face. Good reach of neck and level top-line which he held on the move. Just slightly longer in loin than my class winner, a very nice type.
3 Biggs’ Kellorian Poetry in Motion
2 year old tricolour boy who is fairly heavily marked, eyes not as nice as 1 & 2, however a small compact little dog who moved and was shown well by his owner. He was presented for judging in superb, faultless condition. A credit to his owner.
Special Post Graduate Black/Tan or Ruby (1, 1)

Limit (4, 1)
1 Inglis’ Craigowl Jarrow
Reserve Best Dog
– 2 year old tricolour boy having well broken markings on his richly marked coat. Good rich chestnut markings to face just like his half brother who won Junior dog and many of the same remarks apply but this little boy had the edge with his softer expression and short-coupled body. A really handsome tricolour with exactly my ideal in moderate bone. His owners should be very proud of this smart boy who has been a favourite of mine since his puppy days.
2 Powell’s Keyingham Finlay of Margareith
A 2¾ year old pretty blenheim boy with nice eyes and a very pretty well marked face. Unfortunately his coat is a little out of sorts today. He moved and showed very well for his competent owner.
3 Crozier’s Korraines Made to Boogie
2¼ year old blenheim. Another pretty boy with good head and face markings. Not as settled on the move as the first two and slightly longer cast but nevertheless a very nice type.
Open (1, 0)
1 Sandlan & Marshall’s Greenhow Glissade with Arenkote
3 year old tricolour, beautifully marked with masses of coat and fringings and in perfect condition. A flashy, glamorous boy who moved and showed extremely well.

Bitches   Mrs Chris Knight
Best Bitch Paterson's Crothele Tammy Wynette with Phrenchy
Reserve Best Bitch Waters' Keyingham Raphaela
Best Puppy Bitch Angell's Charwelton Heather

Minor Puppy (7, 0)
1 Angell’s Charwelton Heather
Best Puppy Bitch – 8 month old blenheim baby who is lightly marked; complete with desired lozenge. Nice eyes, well cushioned muzzle and soft expression. Lovely square outline whilst standing. A real poppet who just needs time and then I am sure she will test the best.
2 Vella’s Cinderlace Chiquita
6 month old blenheim with well broken markings. Extremely well schooled for one so young. She has a lovely top line, good reach of neck and well angulated hind quarters. Her head is not as ready as my class winner but I am sure this will come as she matures.
3 Inglis’ Nevhill’s Nicole
6 month old blenheim who is slightly larger and more mature than my previous two. She has a nicely cushioned face and good bone for age. She was just a little unsure today of her surroundings. Nevertheless another very promising youngster.
Puppy (7, 3)
1 Crane’s Spindlepoint First Course for Cranvarl
10½ month old blenheim bitch with nice clean definitive markings to face, really dark eyes of good size and coal black nose pigmentation. She has a lovely short-coupled outline and level top-line. Showed very well and should mature into a very worthy winning little girl.
2 Towse’s Miletree Enchantment
11 month old blenheim. I had a difficult choice in this class between these two lovely puppies. Most of my remarks for no. 1 apply to this girl and I had to make my final decision in the fact that my first place had the better top-line on the day.
3 Crozier’s Korraines Marina
11 month old very pretty blenheim bitch who showed quite well. Still rather a baby in comparison to her classmates but I am sure that with age the necessary maturity will come.
Junior (7, 1)
1 Searle’s Stonepit Gala
17 month old blenheim youngster. This little girl has such a super outline, so square; perfectly level top-line, spot on angulation and well marked too. Pretty well patterned head, nice eyes and black nose pigmentation. A little bitch that should mature on and compete with the best, one for the top drawer.
2 Lymer’s Lymrey Hi Falutin
12½ month old outstandingly pretty blenheim, lovely dark lustrous eyes, clear face and coal black nose. Unfortunately she was over exuberant and therefore her gait was rather erratic, which resulted in her throwing her front movement a little. I am sure that this will correct itself once she settles down and behaves herself as she is such a worthy contender.
3 Waters’ Maibee Delores
13 month old blenheim who although heavily marked this did not detract from her prettiness and overall quality. Again a very pretty bitch with lovely dark eyes and sweet expression. Just a little longer in loin than my previous two in this class.
Maiden (7, 3)
1 Lymer’s Lymrey Hi Fashion
12½ month old blenheim. Similar remarks for this little one as for her sister in the junior class with regard to her overall quality. This little girl showed better, more settled. She gave me the impression of having a truer front and top-line. Again very well coated. The third youngster from a lovely typy litter, their owner must be very proud of these babes.
2 Paterson’s Phrenchy Charlotte’s Web
13 month old blenheim with good chestnut to coat markings. Large dark eyes, pretty head. Moved and showed very well, not as cobby as her predecessor in this class but with nice confirmation.
3 Inglis’ Craigowl Vanderbilt
14 month old heavily marked tricolour with really coal black and rich chestnut markings to her pearly white coat; such crisp definition. Good head, dark eye and nice expression. This little girl showed her heart out, so animated. Excellent movement. This was a hard class of quality bitches who should all have a good adult show career ahead.

3 Jones’ Timsar Tri My Best
Almost 2 year old tricolour, nicely marked, very pretty head, well coated with lots of fringing. Good mover who showed well, just unlucky to meet 1 & 2 in this class.

Special Post Graduate Tricolour or Blenheim (6, 1)
1 Searle’s Stonepit Just a Gem
2 year old tricolour with sweet face and dark eyes, good pigment and required chestnut to correct points. Fairly heavily marked, with lovely glossy straight coat of good length and plenty of featherings to complete a very nice picture. Pleasing size and shape, level top-line and moved quite well - when she thought about it!
2 Jones’ Timsar Miss B’havin
2¼ year old blenheim with well broken deep chestnut markings, well cushioned muzzle and nicely marked face. Large dark eyes, good pigment and sweet expression. Rather wary of her surroundings today but well deserved her placing – a lovely type.
3 Angell’s Charwelton Venetia
2¼ years old Blenheim with a good outline; well made so she moved well and at one with her handler. She has a well marked coat and plenty of featherings.
Special Post Graduate Black & Tan or Ruby (2, 0)
1 Smith’s Beaudale Once upon a Wish
2 year old ruby girl with a cobby body, good reach of neck, level top-line and moved well around the ring. Very good nose pigment and dark eyes which stood out in her full face giving a pleasing expression.
2 House’s Triciaville Beattie Boo
3¼ year old black and tan with a wealth of shiny coat which was marked correctly in all the right places. Large eyes and nice expression.
Limit (5, 3)
1 Waters’ Keyingham Raphaela
Reserve Best Bitch – This little blenheim is almost 2 years old. She has nice dark eyes, soft round face, well broken markings, cobby body and moved well. I liked her outline whilst standing. A very pretty bitch with a super face.
2 Crane’s Cranvarl Regal Pretence
3 year old blenheim who is well coated, with lovely super long ear featherings and moved quite well, a little larger in size than my class winner.
Open (4, 2)
1 Paterson’s Crothele Tammy Wynette with Phrenchy
Best in Show, Best Bitch – 3 year old girl with an absolutely super soft expression. She has large dark eyes and dense nose pigmentation, well broken markings on a good straight coat, lovely outline, short-coupled body, level top-line and correct angulation. She sailed around the ring with purpose and was at one with her handler. She is a really lovely sweet tempered bitch and I hope her owners will give the exposure at shows she truly deserves. A real winner out of the top drawer!
2 Biggs’ Camahieu Marquise of Kellorian
A really well marked tricolour whom I have admired many times before as she his well coated and as always immaculately presented. A stylish dog with a rich tan in all the correct places. Unfortunately she was not happy here today, which was such a shame as I know that she usually shows so well.
