Bitches   Mr J Evans
A phone call from Mrs Rees secretary to tell me that their judge elect for birches was unable to fulfill her appointment due to the sudden death of her husband John that morning, I send my deepest sympathy. I was free on the day & was able to judge Mrs Grant's excellent entry of 331. My co-judge was Mrs Franze from Australia, a brave lady to travel such a long way to stay here for just a week so close to the holiday season. My CC winner & BIS on the referee's decision was the bitch, Montcolly Victoria, she was indeed victorious to come out on top of such a large entry, Tri, her 3rd CC & 2nd BIS since October, full of type, correct head, well carried ears, long dark eye, nice neck, well laid shoulders, strong topline held well on the move, very good tailset used the whole of the time, makes full use of the ring as she drives herself around, my co-judge describes her as exquisite & I must agree with that
