Dogs. Mr B Embleton
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the breeders and exhibitors for giving me an excellent entry of quality exhibits, the quality was so high it made it difficult to select the top five exhibits and some quality dogs going out of the ring cardless, I always select my top exhibits looking for quality of type, good overall balance and soundness, this was in abundance on the day I judged.
I did feel that there were two problem areas, these being light eyes and high tail sets but I would point out that this was in the minority.

I do believe this is the second CC for this dog. I am sure that there is a judge out there who is very experienced and knowledgeable will see the qualities this dog has to offer and give him his third. CC & BOB with my co judges agreement

Bitches Mr E M Tweddell
The last time I judged bitches, my comments were a lack in depth of quality, here today I found completely the opposite, every class had several bitches that were worthy of a red card and it seemed a pity there were not a few more classes. Either there has been a huge improvement in the soundness of cavaliers, or exhibitors had realised I will not put up a good head with nothing to back it up. This was a large entry full of quality that bodes well for our breed, it is a compliment to the current breeders, that there is now strong competition in every class.

A very promising young blen. with good pigment, dark eyes and soft expression. Moved and showed like a dream, excellent reach of neck and well angulated shoulders and good tail set, kept good topline on the move and when standing. BPB. Just edged out for B.P in my opinion, on maturity.
2 Conneally's Jordanic Capri at Coedgwylum
Another promising blen. with large dark eyes and good pigment, soft expression, showed well but just needs to settle on the move, this will come with time, edged out 3 on size.

1 Bolland's Shandego Annabella
I liked her large dark expressive eyes, good mouth, pigment and large well set ears, framing a well balanced head with soft expression, moved and showed well, one who came close in the challenge. Winner of a very good typical junior class where some were very immature and others the finished bitch.

This B/Tan took my eye the minute she came into the ring, with her gleaming raven black coat and rich tan markings. was pleased to find she moved as well as she looked and it was no surprise to find under the coat was a well constructed frame.
