Best Puppy Lymer's Lymrey Hi Command

Minor Puppy (17 Entries, 6absent)
1 Baillie's Fyrnrose Lachie
Blenheim of good colour, very attractive head and appealing, dark eyes. In good coat and presented beautifully he was well balanced all through. With strong hindquarters and firm hocks he moved with drive.
2 Steel's Behabre Burberry Touch
A young tricolour boy of just six and a half months old - still wearing his 'puppy' coat but showing great promise. With rich tan markings in all the correct places, full dark eyes and level top line he moved well with elegance.
3 Hill & Webber's Montcolly Morgan
Res Koster's Harana Starsailor
VHC Grant's Granasil Kennady
Puppy (10, 1)
1 Lymer's Lymrey Hi Command
Richly marked blenheim boy in excellent coat - beautifully presented. Lovely gentle expression with full, dark eyes and correct ear set. Neck and shoulder placement correct, top-line level and well balanced throughout. A little unsettled at times but eventually he 'got his act' together enough to win this class and go on to Best Puppy Dog.
2 Gilbert's Maratim Could It Be Magic
A lighter marked blenheim, attractive head, blessed with the lozenge - gentle crest of neck sweeping to level topline and firm hindquarters. Movement was erratic until he settled but overall he presents an elegant outline.
3 Renaud's Ellenaud Harry Potter
Res Atkinson's Broganzor Cassablanca for Kimlea
VHC Stevens' Heronsbridge Tholjannah at Bonema
Junior (16, 2) I was disappointed in this class to find quite a few dogs showing white around their eyes - which spoils the expression of this lovely breed so much. Tail set was also a problem and some who looked promising on the table failed in this respect when moving and standing .
1 Hill & Webber's Montcolly Brian
I loved this young man! He fills the breed standard criteria in every respect. With his ruby coat presented to perfection, lovely full dark eyes - head framed by well set on ears, elegant neck, good spring of rib and level top line he used his strong hindquarters to advantage and won this class easily on his overall construction and quality. Strongly considered him for the Reserve CC.
2 Rennard's Deranmar Michael JW
This young man caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring with his well marked coat, attractive head and gentle expression. Good neck and shoulder placement, firm top line and overall balance - was unfortunate to meet 'Brian' who never put a foot wrong! A quality young man who I am sure we will hear more of in the future.

1 Bubb's Wandris Entertainer
A most gorgeous blenheim dog - so full of quality and presented to perfection! Lovely full head and dark eyes - with head framed by well set ears, alert expression determined to know what was going on he looked an absolute picture. I kept my fingers crossed that he would fulfil my expectations - and he did! He held his head proudly on elegant neck, kept his top line level, tail just right and used his strong hindquarters to cover the ring with ease. Read the Breed Standard and see this dog - he is a wonderful 'entertainer'. I was delighted to award him the CC and with the co-judges approval Best of Breed.
2 Egan's Robrook Lewis Carroll
Another blenheim with appealing head and expression - eyes dark and of correct shape, good neck and well laid back shoulders. Of good size and built on finer lines than the winner - moving a little close behind here today.

1 Lymer's Lymrey Hi Treason
Well balanced young man who caught my eye when entering the ring. I thought he was going to 'blow it' as he took such a long time to settle down to the job in hand - however, his overall quality cannot be overlooked. With attractive head framed by correct ear set, gentle crest of neck sweeping to level top line, good tail set and strong hindquarters he covered the ring well. In lovely coat and presented beautifully he could not be denied this placing.
2 Claydon's Brymarden Billybob
