Dogs. Mrs M Coaker
I thank the exhibitors for entering their quality dogs under me at this show - almost all beautifully presented though some coats were rather too harsh in texture - a silky coat is called for. The big grumble of the day was the necks and fronts. A large proportion of dogs had upright shoulders, the blades at the withers were sometimes as much as 3 or even 4 inches apart! Partly due to being rather fat but in the main construction was at fault. Necks also were on the whole very short. Even several of my winners were less than perfect in these respects - to penalise them all would have made me lose the type I wanted. These points need attention and more thought put to the breeding programme.

Bitches Mrs L Goodgame
I would like to thank all exhibitors for such a good entry. With our breed the head is a large part when judging but it is not everything. I found a lot of heavy upright shoulders and in the puppy classes very poor back movement in saying that it was the lower classes that I looked to for my RCC winner.
