Dogs. Mrs J E Barton
Very grateful thanks for giving me the privilege of judging dogs at your championship show & for the excellent hospitality. Presentation was very good, only a few bad mouths. A prevalent fault was badly constructed upright shoulders, totally spoiling the balance & outline of otherwise nice exhibits. As I believe it should be, I was judging the dog on the day, not what he has previously won or what he might win in the future. In some classes there were very close decisions between I & 2. It was a pleasure to see the quality & type of my final line-up.

Bitches Mrs D Searle
I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of the Eastern Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club for their hospitality and for allowing me to stand in for Mrs Caroline Gillies who, due to illness, was unable to fulfil her appointment in judging bitches.  I wish Caroline a very speedy recovery. Thank you also to Richard and Andy for their very competent stewarding.
