Dogs.   Mrs C E Storar
My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge their show it was an honour. My thanks also to my two very able stewards. Many thanks to the exhibitors for bringing so many lovely dogs for me to go over. I was surprised to find quite a lot of bad mouths in the lower classes, also I thought that some handlers need to pay attention to the judge I don't know how many times I put my hand up to indicate that I wanted them to stop but was amazed at how many just kept on walking, in some cases both dogs and handlers needed ringcraft. CC winner was Inglis' Ch Billie Elliot with RCC going to Bubb's Ch Wandris Entertainer, Best Puppy went to Gow's Lyncraeg Dream Angus. The referee was brought in for BIS and this was given to Ch Billie Elliot. RBIS went to Loranka's Star Surprise. BPIS went to Lyncraeg Dream Angus.

Bitches   Miss D Spavin
I would like to thank the Mid CKCS Club for asking me to judge their 26th Ch Show, it was a great honour, Mary and her hard working committee ran a very well organised show .I would like to say a special thank you to my 2 ring stewards Richard Cornaby and Christine White for their hard work keeping the ring going at all times.
I don't know who thought of the presents for the judges, I cannot speak for my co judge but mine was absolutely lovely, it was a painting of 3 of our Beagle Champions painted on a huge piece of slate so thank you for that.
I was very happy with my line up and could easily have given the ticket to any of the 6 I short-listed. I was a little disappointed with heads, there were a lot lacking cushioning under the eyes and showing too much white, having said that I was impressed with front assembly's good shoulders and return of upper arms. There were very few toyish bitches which I think showed in my line up, they were small, Feminine but had bone and substance.
