The future of the breed looks good if the amount of exciting, well made, youngsters In the early classes are anything to go by & there were simply just not enough red cards to go round.

Minor Puppy (9 Entries, 1 Absent) Hard choice between two lovely dogs, in superb coat & condition.
1 Williams’ Johnasta Anton Du Beke
Charming Blenheim with firm level topline, well set and carried tail with good angulation of shoulder and hindquarters, loved his head, expression and attitude so happy and free on the move, pulling over a little at first but eventually settled down and went beautifully. Excellent dark pigment and eye. Scored on front movement.
2 Gardiner & Dansage’s Edonhill Blaze Away
Well balanced Tri with lovely head, darkest of eye and pigment, good layback of shoulder, firm on elbow, happy showman, who moved well.
3 Koster’s Harana Manilow

1 Hall’s Tasset Royal Playboy
Friendly Blenheim with spot who, my notes say, is a true Toy Spaniel being so good for size and type. Well balanced and a super mover being free, sound and energetic. Lovely head, eye, expression and pigment, good topline and layback of shoulder, well made all through. Happy showman, full of himself and never stopped wagging. Most exciting. BPD.

Well made Ruby with a wonderful head, dark eye and pigment, in good straight silky coat for his age., Excellent outline, emphasised when his owner eased his lead on the move. Most attractive.
2 Hedger’s Khatibi Tiger Tim at Alrewic
Gorgeous headed Tri, with beautiful eye and expression. So good for make and shape, well balanced with good layback of shoulder. Although not always making the best of himself, he is extremely sound in movement when he chooses.

B/T with lovely outline, head, expression and pigment, good layback of shoulder. Moved well in front. Scored on reach of neck and overall balance. Dark pigment and eye with most intelligent expression, in splendid shiny black coat with generous ear fringes. Good to handle as all the parts are in the right place. Happy showman with constantly wagging tail.

1 Coaker’s Ttitian Puppeteer of Homerbrent JW Sh.CM
Beautuiful ruby so good for size, type, make, shape and balance with gorgeous head and a melting expression in his dark sparkling eyes. He moved well, particularly in front, but was somewhat overproud of his tail and, when he remembers to carry it correctly, looks quite beautiful in profile.
2 Blackie & Knapp’s Cridensa Tobias
Supremely fit B/T in hard muscular condition with excellent outline ,keen, enthusiastic showman, covering ground in profile. Well made all through and, thus, a joy to handle. One of the few in this class with correct tail set and carriage.

Gorgeous Blen in excellent well marked coat, my winner from the moment he came into the ring with the best of outline, topline and tailset. Beautiful head and expression, excellent pigment. Well made all through. Moved with great style, could be a touch firmer behind.
2 Thomson’s Ailcres Seventh Heaven
Ruby, another lovely, well made dog, so good for size and type. Wonderful head and most intelligent expression. Nose pigment just not currently at its best. Excellent mover with level topline.

1 Rennard’s Deranmar Michael JW
Beautiful Blen, super for make, shape, size and type with no exaggerations. Full of quality with well broken coat of silky texture, in hard muscular condition. Ultra typical with lovely masculine head and dark intelligent eye. A keen, enthusiastic showman, he moved to match the excellence of his confirmation. CC which, I gather, is his second. May his third come soon as he surely deserves his title. Delighted that my co-judge Clare Coxall agreed he be BOB and it was a thrill to see him in the last seven of the Group under Martin Freeman.
2 Lymer & Scheidt’s Lymrey Hi Command JW
Another lovely Blen, full of fun and energy, beautiful head and excellent pigment, so very sound and impressive on the move. beautifully made made all through, in hard condition. He takes the description of long coat and plenty of feathering almost too literally, which is inclined to mask the excellence of his make and shape. Excellent topline both standing and on the move. Bitches   Mrs C Coxall
Some of the classes were difficult & a real challenge. A little disquieting in puppies, some of the mouths could have been better.
