Dogs.  Mrs M Ford
I was delighted to be offered the chance to judge at the Southern CKCS Club Open Show, and very impressed with the overall quality of the entry. I was delighted with my final line-ups, which contained many top quality exhibits, and I thank all the exhibitors for the sporting way they accepted my choices. On a cautionary note, I realised later when studying the catalog, how many of my winners were fathered by the same stud dog. Whilst it is fantastic to have such a prepotent sire stamping his lovely type on to all lines, in the long term it will narrow the gene pool of our lovely breed.
