Dogs.  Miss M Morrison
What a glorious setting and perfect weather to compliment it, for my first time awarding CC's. May I thank all the exhibitors for their support and for bringing their exhibits for me to judge. Presentation overall was good, a few knots were found, and some signs of trimming was detected. My main worry was hind movement, especially in the first two classes. Minor Puppy proved to be the worst, with at least one puppy displaying plaiting hind movement and several others moving very close behind. This is unacceptable and breeders should be breeding for sound overall movement, as sound movement means good confirmation, which is what we should be striving for.
May I thank the Officers and Committee of Windsor Championship Dog Show, for their kind invitation to judge at their Show. Also may I thank Terry and Sheila Munro for their confident stewarding, which allowed me to concentrate on my judging.

Handsome tri heavily marked on the back. Nicely shaped head with soft typical expression, good blaze between eyes, dark pigment to well shaped eyes and nose, good tan markings, with maturity should fill up under the eyes. Displayed an easy and sound action when on the move around the ring, well handled in a gentle manner.

1 Pagan’s Kimark Coming Home to Sorata
Lovely ruby boy, a real show off with plenty of character, moved freely around the ring in an effortless manner, covering the ground well. Masculine head, flat skull, dark pigmentation to nose and eyes with good cushioning under eyes, full high set leathers framing face. Good reach of neck, lovely shoulder assembly, well balanced contour's to body. Kept a level topline on the move, plenty depth to chest, well boned throughout. Another richly coloured ruby, typical gentle breed head expression, pleasing well shaped head, eyes and long full furnishings framing face, muzzle of good length. Overall body proportions made for a good body shape. Good spring of rib with plenty of heart room. Firm straight topline carried his well plumed tail correctly. Glossy coat of lovely length. Good sound rear angulations, giving a flowing movement, although not shown to advantage, when handler allowed him to go, saw enough for his placing.

1 Mynott’s Honeybet My Way
Another smart and showy ruby boy, similar in size to my junior winner. A richly soft textured coated ruby, with lovely sheen to coat which was of good length, well feathered overall. Appealing masculine head and expression, bright dark eyes. Well arched neck, correct lay to shoulders, kept a firm level topline. Compact well angulated body, plenty of depth to chest, firm muscled hindquarters, tail used well. Eye-catching B/t male, shown in a lovely pristine condition. Just stood out in this class, so proud of himself, lovely profile when standing. Carried his head well, rich tan markings on face, long full leathers, good cushioning under large dark soulful eyes, gentle expression. I have a soft spot for my winner, but he still had to impress me to win this class, and he managed this in style. Lovely mature B/t on top form, shown in full coat of great length. Sound construction throughout, firm flowing movement, plenty of drive to the rear. Typical breed head, soft classic expression, flat skull, very long full feathered leathers framing the face. Charming Blenheim, who was showing his socks off for his handler.
