Bitches Mr E Tweddell
There were many quality bitches shown today especially in the younger classes, this should bode well for the future of our breed. On a more negative note there were far too many with not necessarily small eyes, but lacked the large dark eyes that are so important to give that soft expression. Many thanks to my two stewards who kept the ring running smoothly, and I was pleased that my Co -Judge and I were able to agree on BOB and B.P. It was also pleasing to see the B.O.B Group 2 placing

Lewis'
Daraste Amazing Grace
Richly coloured blen with soft expression, good head with well set ears, black pigment and well cushioned foreface. Moved and showed well once she settled one of a number of quality puppies in this class.
2
Rennard's
Deranmar Francesca
Very sound blen whose movement was faultless, lovely neck and shoulders, plenty of drive off the hocks. I just preferred the slightly softer expression of winner, did well to hold off a close up third.

Topped a class of quality puppies. This youngster caught my eye from the minute she came in the ring, she had the drive and confidence take on this hot class, lovely well proportioned head with well cushioned foreface, large dark eyes and correctly set ears that framed the softest of cavalier expressions, good lay of shoulder and well angulated hind quarters that produced the movement of a Swiss watch, smooth, accurate and synchronised. Best Puppy in Breed
2
Levy & Sedgwick's
Pascavale Clarissa
Another beautiful cavalier from this kennel, I think they must be cloned. I loved the soft gentle expression, dark eyes, good mouth and well placed ears, beautiful silky coat and as usual presented to perfection. I am sure the first three in this class will swap places throughout their show careers.

1
Lymer & Scheidt's
Volney Chardonnay
A very nice short coupled bitch, well coated for age, moved and showed well to win another hotly contested class. I liked her large dark eyes, good pigment and well balanced head. Good topline both standing and on the move.
2
Lewis'
Tomnil Creme Evita with Daraste
Another very nice blen. who moved and showed well, could not match the winner for coat.

1
Williams'
Clentview Miss Dior Sancana JW
Striking blen. with well proportioned head and gentle expression, large dark eyes, good reach of neck, correct ear set and good length of leather. I loved her ample spring of rib, well laid shoulders and moderate bone, showed from the minute she came intro the ring, a very happy young cavalier who I was pleased to award this class and the RCC.
2
Boundy's
Rubyfield Fiddlesticks
A very nice B/Tan with good head and rich tan markings, but like most bitches of this age in between coats. Movement good but might benefit from being moved a little quicker as her appearance on the move was a bit lethargic.
3
Antoniazzi's
Clentview J'adore at Littlemeads

1
Mann's
Toshini Giovanna at Lyndabelle
Nice size blen who moved and showed well, nice head and good length ears, gentle expression, good pigment and well broken markings that give the flashy looks to a cavalier. Most of the bitches today were of the correct colour, I have noticed recently on some of the dogs and bitches the colour is not rich tan but almost ruby red.
2
Stocks'
Rebinya Maggie May
A very sound B/Tan with no coat but nothing to hide, carried her head proudly on the move, plenty of drive from well angulated hind quarters, good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. I loved her raven black coat albeit in short supply at this time, and the rich tam, that gives a good b/tan the correct expression.

Honeybet Hot Rosie Lee
Well marked tri with beautiful head and very typical expression, she had plenty of coat, good topline when standing and on the move, but I would have liked more drive from behind.
2
Antoniazzi's
Clentview J'Adore at Littlemeads
Placed third in Junior, but held her own in this class, litter sister to RCC winner, this completed three top class bitches, all carrying the same Affix, something the breeder must be very proud of. This bitch was more settled on the move in this class and well deserved her placing.

Kinvaar Knowing Johnasta
Blen. with well presented profuse coat well presented, moved and showed well, good head and long ear leathers, but in the challenge lost her topline when standing by pulling her head back looking for tit bits.
2
Smith & Aldous'
Aranel Electra
Had I have been judging on heads alone this bitch would without doubt have taken home the CC. I will not give comment on her head because I could not do her justice with my ramblings. This bitch was as is usual from this kennel, presented to perfection, kept a level topline on the move and standing, I liked her good tail set and hind quarters, I am sure she will not be long before she becomes a champion.

A beautiful Tri with the richest of tan markings, well broken colouring and long silky coat. Many people have already expressed her virtues, but her well proportioned head, dark eyes, good pigment and movement did more than enough to convince me she was worthy of this class and the Bitch CC.
2
Homes'
Ch Leogem Minuet JW
Small compact and very sound bitch, with good head, clean neck and level topline, well set tail and good font and hind construction. Moved as well as any here today, just failed to sparkle when standing, but still a top quality bitch.
