Dogs.  Mrs J Barraclough
Firstly I would like to thank all who made the mammoth journey across the Irish Sea. I have done it myself on many occasions and know how tiring it can be.
It is not very often you get the opportunity to judge both sexes at the same Championship show, at this show I had the pleasure of a lovely entry of both dogs and bitches. I found that they complemented each other and the quality of my placings was excellent. It was a shame that there were not more red cards because a lot of the seconds could equal the firsts, but unfortunately nit picking and personal preferences had to be brought in for a lot of my decisions. I was delighted with all my CC and RCC winners and am sure that it won’t be long before they are all champions in their own right.

Beautiful blen boy. Simplicity and perfection. Gentlest of expressions, lovely dark eyes and black pigment. Nicely arched neck into good shoulders. Pearl white and rich tan markings, lovely coat, good short coupled body, good stifle, level back and good tail set making up a perfect picture. Moved like a dream both ways. Pleased to award him RCC
2 Bull’s Ladash Bramble JW ShCM
Another beautiful blen with an abundance of coat which I am sure will make any one envious. A hard decision between 1 and 2 with the same comments except being just a tad longer in back. This is where another red card would have come in handy. Excellent head with the right attributes. Conformation and movement spot on. I can see top honours on the cards for this dog also

1 Angell’s Charwelton Tate JW
I have seen this little dog on many occasions but not had the pleasure to go over him until now. He did not disappoint me in any way. When you see a dog that you like, you try to find fault, because as we say, ‘No dog is perfect’, but I could not fault him today. Loved every part of him from the tip of the black of his nose pigment to the end of his tail plumage.. Stunning head, a one to die for, complete with lozenge. Beautiful arched neck, tucking into correct shoulders. Level back and tail set, excellent bone and stifle. Beautiful tan markings on a pearly white coat. Moved as if he owned the ring and he did today. CC, his 2nd and BOB. Hope his crown is just around the corner
2 Hughes’ Loranka's Enchanting JW
Another boy waiting on his crown, but unfortunate to come up against 1 today. Beautiful tri, lovely tan and good coat. Presented to perfection as everything from this breeder always is. Gentlest of heads and expression. Large dark eyes and good pigment. Lovely ears. Good reach of neck and shoulders. Lovely size and shape. Moved well with little effort keeping a level top line and tail.
