Dogs Miss Dawn Hunter
I would like to thank the committee for their kind invitation to judge their open show on 17th November 2007. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it a great honour and privilege to do so. I had some lovely exhibits present and was pleased with all my winners, being spoilt for choice in many of the classes.

Minor Puppy (7 Entries, 1 Absent)
1 Vella's Cinderlace Cromwell
8 months ‘Chunky’ rich coloured Bl, good head & shoulders, black pigment & large dark eyes, soft gentle expression. Correct angulation & tailset. Moved well, coping admirably with the slippery floor surface. One of the nicest I’ve seen from his well known sire. Best Puppy Dog.
2 Vella's Cinderlace Bramble
Bl, litter brother to First, and many of the same comments apply, as he is very similar. Not quite the reach of neck of his brother and not quite as firm in topline on the move, but he has time, and I’m sure they’ll swap places many times. Two promising babies.

1 Hughes' Loranka's Just Like Heaven
Well broken Bl. Beautifully presented, as all from this kennel were. Promising, masculine head, dark eyes & pigment. Nice reach of neck & shoulders. Level topline. Moved well but at times was a little unsure of the floor surface. Lovely tail carriage. Just pipped for BPD by the Minor Puppy’s confidence on the day, but a close decision.
2 Hughes' Loranka's Heaven Can Wait
Bl litter brother to first and again similar comments apply. Needs a bit more time to mature in head & gain a bit more confidence , but I’m sure this will come.
3 Lock's Kellorian One Step Beyond
Junior (8, 1)
1 Hughes' Loranka's Aramis
Headed a nice class, 14 months Bl. Super movement on this well constructed young dog. Lovely size and shape, Good bone & level topline. Good spring of rib and reach of neck. Masculine head, large dark eyes & jet black pigment. Rich well marked coat. A quality exhibit that once fully matured will trouble the best.
2 Barraclough's Juette New Tricks
Mature well broken Bl. Long silky, well presented coat. Correct front, good neck & level topline. Moved and showed well, just preferred the eye & expression of first, but still a nice dog.

Large dark eyes & black pigment with a soft yet mischievous expression. Long silky coat. Lovely to go over, the more I saw the more I liked. Reserve Best Dog.
2 Hubbard's Popolulu Dazzling Dempster JW
Handsome headed, richly marked Bl. Good bone & level topline. Good neck and shoulder placement. Well bodied, nice outline in profile. I have admired this boy from ringside but today I felt he was unable to match movement or presence of first.

1 Hughes' Loranka's Enchanting JW
It’s no secret how much I have admired this handsome boy in the past. Immaculately presented, well broken coat, with clear rich coloured bright tan markings. Gorgeous head framed by long well set ears. Huge dark eyes giving the softest melting expression. Good neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Lovely size & shape, a delight to over. Moved with style and drive, coping with the slippery floor with ease and keeping a level topline at all times. Has been unlucky not to have achieved that elusive 3rd CC yet as he deserves to have his title. Best Dog and Best In Show.
2 Waller's Castlewytch Arizona avec Jinjan
Well coated Bl. Nice masculine head framed by long well feathered ear leathers. Large dark eyes, pigment could be darker. Good reach of neck, level topline. Moved and showed well.
Veteran (1, 0)
1 Bloomfield's Oaklake One More Tri
Couldn’t believe this lovely Tri boy is 12 years old, and I don’t think that he thinks he is that age either. His owner only just managed to keep up with him. Nice head and expression, correct bite (still has all his teeth!!!). Good front and topline which he held on the move. In superb condition. Moved exceptionally well, not showing his age in any way, a credit to his owner/breeder. Best Veteran In Show.

Minor Puppy (13 Entries, 0 Absent)
1 Claydon's Brymarden Moon Magic
This pretty eye catching 7 months Bl headed a nice class of promising babies. I gave her Champion mother a first as a puppy and she’s a carbon copy of her, or dare I say it ‘even nicer’. Gorgeous head with large dark eyes and black pigment, melting expression. Nothing exaggerated, everything in proportion. Loved her well balanced shape. Good bone, level topline. Sound movement. I’m sure we’ll hear a lot more from this young lady. Best Puppy In Show.
2 Flower's Anberan Dulche De Leche
Sweet 7 months Ruby. Very pretty youngster, large dark eyes, correct bite. Good front and nice reach of neck. Well laid back shoulders. Lovely size. Moved well, a promising youngster.

1 Goodwin's Lanola Sabrosa
9 months Bl. Full of quality, comfortable winner here. Firm topline & lovely tail carriage. Excellent reach of neck. Beautiful head with large dark eyes & pretty expression. Moved well in the class but was unsettled in the challenge for BPB, perhaps because of the change of handler. A really nice puppy.
2 Stevens & Moffat's Milkeyn Minnie Pearl
11 months rich coloured well broken Bl. Good bone. Pretty head, large dark eyes & pigment. Showed well. Preffered the topline & tailset of the winner.

Junior (9, 4)
1 Rennard's Deranmar Francesca
13 months feminine eye catching Bl. Super size and shape. My notes state: So sound, compact & well balanced. Pretty head with large melting dark eyes and the blackest of noses. Soft gentle expression. Good reach of neck & correct shoulder placement. Level topline which she held well on the move. Lovely front & good tailset. She needs a shade more body & coat to complete the picture, but once gained she’ll have a bright future. Best Bitch and Reserve Best In Show.
2 Attwood's Clentview Paris JW
Well marked 14 months, very pretty Bl, unlucky to meet first as she too is of lovely quality & type. Soft well presented coat. Good bone & size. Nice eyes & pigment. Good rear angulation. Needs to tighten in front movement, but still a nice bitch who I’m sure will have many admirers.
3 Towse's Miletree Philanthe
Res Webster's Carolus Rememberance
VHC Brook's Downsbank Winter Mist
Novice (9, 3) A nice class headed by three lovely bitches, including the most beautiful 9 months B/T puppy who frustratingly refused to move on the slippery floor, a real shame as I loved her!
1 Rennard's Deranmar Francesca
See Junior Bitch – This win completed her JW. I later discovered that I gave her Champion father his final JW point as well.
2 Towse's Miletree Nella Fantercia
13 months Bl. Beautiful type, lovely head with big dark eyes & pigment, good reach of neck & spring of rib. Lost out to the winner as she needs to firm up in topline, but time may correct this as she is still young.

Easy winner, delightful Tricolour bitch of quality. In excellent coat & bloom. Rich bright tan markings. Lovely reach of neck & well laid shoulders. Good front and well sprung ribs. Lovely size & shape. Very pretty with large dark eyes & soft melting expression. Level topline & good tail carriage, which she held well on the move. Gave the Junior winner a real challenge for Best Bitch. Reserve Best Bitch.

Fairly mature, 15 months, well broken Tricolour. Lovely head, large dark eyes, soft gentle expression. Good bone, decent reach of neck. Could benefit from losing some weight & needs to tighten in front movement a shade.

1 Crozier's Korraines Duty Free
2 years Bl. Large dark eyes, pretty head, soft expression. Decent front, nice reach of neck. Showed well.
Veteran (2, 0) As with my Veteran Dog, both these lovely ladies, did not look or act their age and they managed to outmove a lot of the younger dogs. All credit to their owners.
1 Flower's Anberan Iced Cappuccino
Compact 7 years old Ruby, who gave my Veteran dog a ‘real run for his money’. Lovely topline and tail carriage. Good bone and size. Pretty head, big dark eyes. Nice coloured coat in good condition. Moved with real drive covering the ring with ease.
2 Underwood's Vanmarlen Cherry Blossom for Neddaow
11 years Tricolour. Different type to winner. Absolutely dripping in coat, rich tan markings. Good neck and shoulders. Dark eyes. Another with a lovely tail carriage. Moved with drive. Just preferred head & expression of my winner.
