Dogs.  Mr K J Town
Thanks to the Committee and my Stewards for a most enjoyable day. The weather was kind, the ring was large enough and Mrs Dolamore, my co-judge, and I had no trouble agreeing joint decisions.
The standard was high among the top winners but I was concerned that too many dogs are being shown with a deeper stop than is correct. This really changes and spoils the expression.

Bitches  Mrs E Dolamore
I would like to thank the Darlington Dog Show Society and their Committee for making this weekend a most enjoyable time, and making my first Championship show appointment so memorable. I would also like to thank my co-judge Mr Ken Town for his support, also a thank you to my two stewards who made the ring run so smoothly. On the whole all the dogs were very cleanly presented. Size and type were generally near to the standard. Only a couple of points to look out for when breeding, small eyes are creeping in, they should be large and round but not prominent, upright shoulders which makes the front movement incorrect.
