A slightly rounded head is OK but we are seeing far too many with domed skulls not typical of the Cavalier. The sad thing is they are becoming accepted. Let’s try not to change our wonderful breed.

Lovely headed Blen, soft melting expression coming from well set large dark eyes, plenty of bone, good spring of rib. Needs to settle but a bright prospect. BP with my co-judge’s agreement.

Impressive Blen of lovely type correct soft expression, good pigmentation, liked his size, should do well, 2 & 3 made a good trio.

Quality Tri, most beautiful eyes, good size, lovely topline standing & on the move, good for size. Perhaps a little more spring of rib. Promising puppy of lovely type.

Lovely size, well presented Blen, well marked coat, good bone. Could make more of himself on the move & he can move correctly.

Ideal size, lovely coat of correct texture, good neck & shoulders, most appealing head, kept clean outline standing & on the move, typical toy spaniel.
2 Boardman’s Volney Gazpacho
Beautiful headed ruby of lovely size, good bone, in wonderful condition, good pigmentation. Little more drive from rear would complete the picture.

Blen, more mature than 1 & better bone. Not as good in tailset & croup as 1, more finished but preferred the softer expression of 1.

Pretty head & expression. Preferred the proportions on the head of 1. Beautifully presented & well schooled. Preferred 1 on the move.

Very pretty bitch, lovely large round eyes giving a soft gentle expression. Rather unsettled on the move but very well constructed. Good neck & shoulders, level topline, well angulated hindquarters. Just needs more coat to complete the picture.

Blen full of type, good nose pigment & dark eyes, correct mouth. Feeling the heat & was panting which marred her expression. In good coat & condition, ideal size.

Very pretty headed Tri with bright tan markings, round eyes giving soft gentle expression, correct mouth. Unsettled on the table but settled on the move, good bone, well angulated hindquarters
