Dog Results Bitch Results

Dogs. Mrs M Spavin
It was a difficult decision for BOB as Annette Oliver Wyles & I both agreed that we liked both the dog & the bitch. We decided to send the dog through as he was more mature. We also agreed on the two lovely puppies & gave BP to the bitch as she also was more mature.

Bitches Ms A Oliver-Wyles
I enjoyed my entry & there were a number of really good bitches in the top placings only separated by minor points which is a healthy state for the breed to be in. A number of blens could, to be critical, have more of a broken coat, I know it is cosmetic but it is clearly called for in the Standard. However it is no good throwing the baby out with the bath water. One or two were a little top of the size range in my opinion, detracting from the toy aspect of the breed. Temperaments were all lovely. When it came to the challenge my co-judge Marion Spavin & myself were in agreement that the dog represent the breed as he scored on maturity, but both he & the bitch made a lovely couple moving around the ring.
