Best Puppy

Minor Puppy (27)
1 Rix & Berry’s Ricksbury Royal Tradition
Well broken Blenheim with beautiful long silky coat.  Whilst up to size this 8½ mth eyecatching boy had a super outline with level topline and good reach of neck.  Attractive masculine head with large dark eyes.
2 Vella’s Cinderlace Rodrigo
7 mth baby full of promise.  Kind head with dark eye.  This well marked Blenheim has a very showy personality.  Both 1 & 2 won their places on movement, excelling in both front & behind.
3 Fox-Shone’s Miskhill Dom Perignon avec Pamedna
Puppy (13)
1 Barnard’s Toshini Martino
11 mth  rich chestnut, flashily marked Blenheim who is tip top coat and condition, he stood out in this class.  Generous head with dark melting eyes and dark pigment.  His has good reach of neck and kept his topline on the move.  Super drive from behind.
2 Williams’ Anberan Black Russian Mit Johnasta
A naughty B/T oozing personality.  Gentle head with dark eye.  Excellent hind angulation with positive rear movement.  Not so controlled for front assessment!
3 Grant’s Granasil Kind of Magic
Junior (13)
1 Wiggins’ Whyteplace Alonso
Attractive heavily marked Blenheim in good show condition.  Level topline and excellent front construction, deep chest and good spring of rib.  Gentle head with well set ears, dark eyes and kind expression.
2 Boardman’s Volney Bonanza
B/T in excellent straight silky raven black coat with the richest of tan.  A little longer in back than 1 however moved with positive drive from behind, keeping his tail.  A very gentle masculine head with sweet expression.
3 Pagan’s Sorata Bob Marley
Yearling (15)
1 Smith’s Beaudale Fields Of Gold
An appropriately named ruby.  His coat was vibrant and so glamorous.  This dog comes in a very neat package – compact, well balanced with level topline.  Gentle head in proportion to his size with dark eye and soft melting expression.  Excellent movement and correct tail set – using his tail to his advantage.
2 Inglis’ Craigowl Wylam
Richly marked Blenheim with kind head and dark eye.  Just lacking a little in confidence and needing time to settle however moved well in front and kept a super topline with good tail.
3 Brooks’ Moonvale Augustus
Novice (9)
1 Pagan’s Sorata Bob Marley
3rd in Junior, he stole this class.  Attractive ruby of the deepest colour.  Soft gentle head with very sweet expression.  Correct front construction and carrying his topline well.
2 Evans’ Ttitian Chocolatier for Svena
Ruby boy not quite the colour of one but of very sound construction who just floats on the move.  Beautifully presented, I would just like to shrink the package a little!
3 Allerton’s Deeriem Dandi Man
Graduate (8)
1 Rix & Berry’s Ricksbury Royal Valour
A quality richly marked Blenheim youngster.  Handsome head with lovely dark, with still room for maturity.  A proper showman, using his ears all the time to captivate the expression.  Excelling in neck and topline and moving true both fore and aft.
2 Inglis’ Craigowl Battenburg
Another richly marked Blenheim of similar super construction as 1.  Needing a little more encouragement to use his ears to his advantage but a soundly made boy all through.
3 Allerton’s Cazarrah Tennyson for Deeriem
Post Graduate (20)
1 Boyd & Carter’s Kinvaar Addict
Handsome tricolour with soft, gentle head, dark eye and richest of tan in all the right places!  Proud chest with magnificent feathering showing of his excellent front construction.  Kept his topline and tail on the move.
2 Godwin’s Cavaleigh Christian
Another handsome boy of super construction, eye catching on the move with super topline and tail.  Well broken Blenheim beautifully presented.  Masculine gentle head with expression slightly spoiled by the show of white in one eye.
3 Mynott’s Honeybet My Way
Veteran (7)  A delightful class of real class gentlemen!  Not necessarily placed as I would have in their youth but headed today by:
1 Philpott’s Ch. Royal Influence of Charterwood
Whose overall construction would have held good with the youngsters!  He could have carried a laden tea tray on his back without. A well broken Blenheim in full coat, glamorous ears and thoroughly enjoying his outing!
2 Koster’s Harana Sinatra
Ruby dog, in full coat with long beautiful ears, darkest of eyes and pigment.  1 & 2 won their places on their movement today.
3 Hughes’ Ch. Loranka’s Celebration
Special Mid Limit Blenheim (14) A very strong class with the first 3 all from the top drawer, headed today by:
1 Jones’ Timsar Mister Moonlighter
This dog has a delightful head with soft generous muzzle, kind dark eyes and melting expression with an air of mischief about him (and I’m not referring to his mother!).  Still a handful for his owner but settled after the first lap to show off his super front construction, reach of neck and spring of rib.  A contender in the challenge.
2 Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Jamie JW
Smartly marked Blenheim of lovely size shown in immaculate condition.  Gentle chubby head with shorter muzzle than 1, huge liquid dark eyes and good pigment, endearing expression.  Attractive on the move and showing so well for his handler.  Excellent topline and shoulder placement.
3 Gillhespy’s Lorphil Lyphard JW ShCM
Special Mid Limit Tricolour (14) Another class where I was spoilt for choice.
1 Inglis’ Craigowl Ryton
This dog is so pleasing to go over.  Handsome head with still room for maturity.  Kind dark eye and nice expression.  Heavily marked Tri with richest of tan in all the right places in beautiful coat he looked “suited and booted”.  Excellent neck, shoulders and topline, he moved with drive.
2 Town’s Barsac Sadler’s Wells JW
A glamorous well broken Tricolour in full coat that was just passed its very best and beginning to fly.  Soft gentle head with dark eyes.  Lovely bone and well balanced all through.  Moving true fore and aft he kept his topline and tail.
3 Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Bruce
Special Mid Limit Black & Tan (11)
1 Shone’s Cobalatino Candy Man
Extremely glamorous B/T put down in tip top condition, absolutely dripping in raven black silky coat.  Very gentle, kind head with dark eye and pigment.  Excelling in neck, shoulder and topline.  He never stopped showing.

2 Koster’s Dortmund Take A Chance Harana
Stronger B/T than 1 with very rich tan.  Level topline with  straight front and good depth of chest.  Head with flat skull & high set ears with good feathering, large dark eyes, good reach of neck & shoulder placement. Would prefer this boy in a smaller mould.

3 Shinnick & Collins’ Leelyn Kameron
Special Mid Limit Ruby (5) By comparison to the outstanding other Mid Limit classes this class was not so strong and both 1 & 2 moved with most strength behind.
1 Bailey’s Aldoricka Utah
A lthough longer cast than I would prefer this boy had level topline and good tail carriage.  Kind generous head, rich in colour.
2 North & Box’ Jalesto Now I’m Here
Glamorous ears framing gentle head.  Preferred the stronger hindquarters and drive of 1.

3 Thomson’s Ailcres Seventh Heaven
Limit (12)
1 Banks’ Pamedna Cotton Sox at Choya
Lightly marked Blenheim with glamorous long ears ears, gentle head with lovely warm dark eyes and pigment.  Short in back yet a little tall, very exhuberant on the move with a tendency to just lift his tail.  Overall handsome boy in lovely coat and very well presented.
2 Hunter’s Spennithorne Justin Thyme ShCM
Richly marked Blenheim, a little longer cast than 1.  Dark eye and pigment given soft expression to his gentle, handsome head.  Moved well for his handler but lacked the glamour and finish of 1.
3 Waller’s Castlewytch Arizona Avec Jinjan
Open (15) This was the strongest class I have ever had the pleasure to judge, it was like a night at the Oscars and all the stars were there.  I could have quite happily given a CC to all of my 6 places!  With so many treasures to pick from I made them all work hard – 2 triangles and straight up & down too – at least they all “puffed” them same – the heat was on!!!
1 Baker & Park’s Ch. Keyingham Branwell
A very deserved champion that I was delighted to have the opportunity to go over.  He is a beautiful example of the breed with a delightful typical temperament.  Today he positively drove around the ring taking bigger strides behind.  He moved with grace and elegance, beautifully presented.  He has a super front with magnificent chest feathering, carries his head proudly with ears up too. I was delighted to be able to add to his collection of CCs.
2 Costello’s Beauella Radzinski JW
A favourite of mine from the ringside, who can look so sad, I want to cuddle him.  Mahogany rich blenheim dog shown in superb condition and beautiful coat.  Hotly pushed by 3rd in this class, 2 boys of ideal size, this one just having the edge with perfect topline today.  Both have the ideal size and general make and shape.  Masculine heads that are so gentle with large warm eyes.  The more Radzinski moved the more I liked him and was delighted to award him the RCC.
3 Aldous & Smith’s Ch. Aranel Cosmic

Bitches Miss Alex Bubb
I would like to thank the committee for their hospitality.  I had some lovely bitches to go over.  On a negative note, the amount of light eyes concerned me, the standard says dark eyes not amber or mid brown, however all my winners had the correct eye colour and happy cavalier temperament.
CC Smith & Aldous’ Aranel Electra
RCC Fox-Shone’s Ch. Pamedna Touch Of Fan-TC
Best Puppy Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Clarissa

Minor Puppy (33 Entries, 8 Absent)
1 Lewis’ Daraste Amazing Grace
Well marked Blenheim, prettiest of heads with good pigment and limpid dark eyes, excellent neck and shoulders, short coupled body, moved well with the correct happy Cavalier temperament.
2 Hogan’s Ricksbury Royal Promise for Stavonga
Another promising puppy, good head properties, large eyes, well set ears, lovely neck, excellent topline and movement, just preferred the femininity of 1.
3 Towse’s Miletree Nella Fanterosa
Puppy (29, 9)
1 Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Clarissa
Richly marked Blenheim with a beautiful face and eyes, in good coat, moved well fore and aft, also kept a level topline going round with a good tail carriage, very promising puppy which should have a bright future.  With agreement of my co-judge BPIS.
2 Attwood’s Clentview Paris
Well marked Blenheim, very pretty face, good eyes, well presented silky coat, moved well both ways, another promising puppy.
3 Lymer & Scheidt’s Lymrey Hi Society
Junior (25, 6)
1 Lymer & Scheidt’s Volney Chardonnay
Blenheim with the correct Cavalier temperament, well marked body, glorious eyes, good pigment, moved the best in this class with a correctly carried tail.
2 Town’s Barsac Catania
Profusely coated Blenheim, pretty with dark eyes, nice size, flowing movement, nice rich colour.
3 Sedgbeer’s Sorata Ashleen
Yearling (16, 3)
1 Kerr’s Kinvaar Kinky Boots
Well marked Tricolour, sweet expression, good size, dark eyes, well set ears and good flat skull, moved very well and showed with verve, a real toy spaniel and lovely type.
2 Barnard’s Toshini Louisa
Blenheim, well marked with a lovely head and expression, thought she was my winner but was playing up on the move, hence 2nd.
3 Searle’s Stonepit Tinsel Tiara
Novice (21, 7)
1 Town’s Barsac Catania
See Junior
2 Aldous & Smith’s Aranel Scrumptious
Very pretty Blenheim with well broken markings, good bone for size, well presented, preferred the outline of 1.
3 Paterson’s Missy Elliotts at Phrenchy
Graduate (13, 1)
1 Rix & Berry’s Ricksbury Royal Empress
Well make Blenheim, correct muzzle and large expressive eyes, cheeky expression, moved well keeping level topline and strong rear, well presented coat of correct texture, in my short list for CC
2 Whitfield’s Bevelmount Madeline
Pretty Blen, again another who moved well, glamorously coated, good eyes, pleasing expression, just preferred the richer colour of 1.
3 Costello’s Beauella Kiss This
Post Graduate (16, 3)
1 Singleton’s Celxo Royal Flirtation
Well broken Blenheim with the loveliest eyes, melting expression, well presented coat, moved OK, showed well enjoying herself.
2 Kitson’s Kadoogels Could It Be Magic
Well marked Tricolour of the ideal size, expressing the correct Cavalier temperament, therefore showed well.
3 Waddington’s Spindlepoint Grace Darling.
Veteran (6, 1)
1 Towse’s Miletree Bedtime Story
Lovely old girl of 11 years, really enjoying the show, exquisite expression with limpid dark eyes, in great condition, moved out well, excellent presentation.
2 Bigg’s Camahieu Marquise of Kellorian
Younger girl of 7½, well marked Tri with rich tan markings, moved and showed well.
3 House’s Triciaville Beattie Boo
Special Mid Limit Blenheim
1 Bartlett’s Korolevsky Zviozhdochka
Pretty Blenheim bitch, correct ear set, just the right amount of muzzle, good rich markings, moved well both ways, didn’t stop showing.
2 Baillie’s Fyrnrose Morwyn Star
Well coated young lady with a pretty face, nice size, just lacked the animation of 1.
3 Ballentine’s Middleshot Emma
Special Mid Limit Tricolour (10, 2) This was a difficult class to judge.
1 Inglis’ Craigowl Nora Batty
Nice size bitch with the desired Cavalier temperament lacking in many today, lovely large dark eyes, short coupled body with plenty of substance, really excels in side profile on the move, spirit level topline and didn’t stop showing off her clean cut outline.
2 Moulden’s Forever Romance of Whitecroft
A favourite of mine, gave her the Res CC when I last judged. I actually prefer the femininity of this girl, but didn’t have the exuberance and style of the winner.
3 Mynott’s Honeybet Hot Rosie Lee
Special Mid Limit Black & Tan
1 Crozier’s Korraines Amelia
Well moving girl with clear tan markings of the correct rich colour, moved well keeping level topline, well presented raven black coat.
2 Bailey & Lucas’ Alberica Walnut Ravenna
Very pretty with enormous dark eyes, moved well but just preferred the richness of tan of the winner.
3 Boardman’s Volney Daisy Belle
Special Mid Limit Ruby (7, 0)
1 Pagan’s Campanards Triple Rose at Sorata
The best wholecolour of the day, very exuberant, richly marked little bitch, coat has that gorgeous rich Ruby colour so lacking, good glossy silky finish to the coat, just needed more of it.  Pretty bitch with the blackest pigment and dark eyes, very stylish on the move with the non-stop characteristic Cavalier waggy tail, good neck, lovely size body and shape; in my short list, coat just lost her out today.
2 Whitfield’s Alberica Focus on Red
Well made ruby, again with a pretty head and lovely eyes, moved O.K., but without the personality of the winner.
3 North & Box’s Jalesto Don’t Stop Me Now
Limit (14, 3)
1 Aldous & Smith’s Aranel Electra
Beautiful bitch, oozes quality and breed type, pretty feminine expression with huge dark eyes of the desired round shape, balanced head with good high set ears on a flat skull, nicely arched neck leading into well laid shoulders, just the right length of body, short coupled followed by a happy wagging correctly set tail, in good coat which was well presented; all this followed on with a good topline and well moving front and rear.  Was pleased to award her the CC and with my Co-judge BIS.
2 Taylor’s Rosscrea Your Truly
Well marked Blenheim, real toy size with plenty of bone, again the desired eyes, sweet face, moved well, called her in to challenge for Res CC, but preferred the finish of the winner.
3 Butler’s Tamyse Delecia JW
Open
1 Fox-Shone’s Ch Pamedna Fan-TC JW
Headed a class of quality bitches. Ideally marked Tricolour, prettiest of heads, lovely expression with large dark round eyes, good bright tan in all the right places, excels in movement, moved well both ways and kept a good topline, has a glamorous profuse well presented coat of a good texture and clarity.  Pleased to award her the Res CC.
2 Jones’ Ch Timsar Miss Chief
An old favourite of mine, Blenheim with the sweetest expression, feminine face with the desired eyes, in excellent condition, and not showing her age, could show the youngsters a thing or two!  Profuse silky coat, stylish on the move.
3 Water’s Ch Maibee Gentle Touch
