Bitches Mr F Kane
The South & West Wales Cavalier Club held a Ch show where it was a pleasure to judge with my co-judge specialist Gwen Baker & we were in full agreement on all of the awards expect BV where we both stayed loyal to our olden oldie.
BIS was the dog, Ch Keyinghan Branwell, who became the new breed record holder on the day, he is a dog I admire greatly as he has won a top award under me before, his topline, croup & tail carriage are perfection, something of a rarity, this added to his lovely type makes him an outstanding dog; RBIS, winning her 2nd CC. Ricksbury Royal Empress, very similar for type & topline, full of quality; BP, the dog, Kellorian Head Over Heels; BV, the bitch, Anberan Iced Cappucino.

Lovely daughter of Cosmic, almost 9 months, very forward, excellent body, beautifully sound. Needs time to finish in the head but excellent eyes. A convincing winner here, excellent movement. BPB
2 Vella’s Cinderlace Harmony
Really typy baby of 6 months, beautiful type, excellent head a eyes, very sound. A touch overweight over the loin which affects her topline but she is young & full of quality, worthy daughter of Branwell.
3 Claydon’s Brymarden Moon Magic
Res Li’s Avalcier Nadine
VHC Knight’s Carolus Little Madam
Puppy (21, 10)
1 Angell’s Charwelton Zena
11 months, heavily marked blen, but scored in her excellent movement & with a very sweet head & eyes. I’d prefer a slightly higher tailset but carries herself well. Excellent ribs, very richly coloured.
2 Rennard’s Deranmar Philippa
11 months, beautiful topline & tail carriage, flat skull & good eyes. Not in her best coat, preferred the rear action of 1. When in full bloom will look well, very much the topline & tailset to treasure.

Special Graduate B/T (13, 4)
1 Boundy’s Rubyfield Fidget
In beautiful condition, lovely colours & texture, beautiful head, beautiful type & size, very sound, excellent silky textured coat. Tail carriage too tight but that is one fault against all of her virtues, as for me that is preferable & more natural than the cowed carriage which does not carry the gay friendly temperament the Standard calls for.
2 Boardman’s Volney Daisy Belle
Excellent type & size, better tail carriage than 1 but not as collected on the move. Good coat & colours. Preferred head of 1 but a nice bitch.
3 Deans’ Clockpelters Emmylou
Res Lewis’ Leelyn Dixie Boo with Carleeto
VHC Hughes’ Loranka's Star Princess
Special Graduate Ruby (8, 0)
1 Sparrow’s Tashmit The Next Generation
Excellent toy spaniel type, very sound, compact, good colour. Tail carriage is too high but had the overall balance to win this, sound & happy mover.
2 Hughes’ Loranka's Desert Star
Beautiful on the table, lovely head & eye, good body. Croup & rear could be better, rather cowed on the move & this cost her the class. Beautiful coat & colour. excellent ribbing.
3 Pagan’s Sorata Sophie Tucker

VHC North & Box’s Jalesto Don't Stop Me Now
Special Graduate Tricolour (3, 2)

Not in her best coat but full of quality, lovely size & type, ultra sound, good topline, tail & croup.

2 Flower’s Anberan Ginger Truffle
Ruby, raw but sound & with lovely carriage, excellent head type. Needs her ribs & body now.
3 North & Box’s Jalesto Don't Stop Me Now
Res Norris’ Criscan Inquisitive
VHC Vass’ Gwentons Sweet Jasmin at Clauberry
Limit (23, 10)
1 Boardman’s Volney April Love
Good bodied blen of excellent type, good to go over on the table, sound. Needs to be taken a little faster but holds a good topline & this gave her the class.
2 Pagan’s Campanards Triple Rose at Sorata
The winner on the table, beautiful ruby with exquisite head & eye. Liked her immensely but not holding herself well on the move, a great pity, rather sinking into her body with a low tail carriage. Free & sound movement.

VHC Jones’ Wightisle She's Magic at Droleus
Open (8, 3)
1 Rix & Berry’s Ricksbury Royal Empress JW
Blen of beautiful type with flat skull & big dark eyes, lovely topline & carriage which won her this class, very much out of the mould of previous Ricksbury bitches I’ve liked, in excellent form. CC & RBIS
2 Claydon’s Ch Brymarden Moon River JW
Blen of the same type, excellent mover, loved her head a eyes, excellent colour, well sprung ribs. Preferred the croup & topline of 1 & that is all that separated them in this good class. RCC
