Dogs. Mrs K J Sandlan
I was delighted with my final line up though there were some hair splitting decisions in a number of classes, which I could well reverse another day. Quite a variation in type with a number of round heads, and an assortment of muzzle lengths, I would infact have preferred slightly more foreface on my three principle winners, though felt their overall quality justified their placing.

Rabymar Untouchable
Minor Puppy (11 Entries, 3 Absent)
1 McInally’s Maibee Moonstone NAF TAF
Lovely blen puppy whose, head as one would expect from such a youngster, still needs to fill, good ear set, flat skull, his eye though dark and of a good shape could be larger. First rate presentation of his ample well marked coat. Super topline and tail set, moved well when settled. Stood four square, happy temperament.
2 Walsh’s Bevelmount Hamilton for Altnco
Pretty headed blen set with loveliest of round dark, eye, jet pigment, well made throughout, deep chestnut blanket marking. Made his handler work for this placing.
3 Mowatt’s Asmena Slip Anchor
Res Rogerson’s Rabymar Holy Grail
VHC Walker’s Korolevsky Iosif
Puppy (7, 1)
1 Rogerson’s Rabymar Untouchable
Lovely b/t a day short of 12 months. Pretty head, dark eye. Lovely arch to his reachy neck giving him a good head carriage. Beautifully balanced, with good bone, was well made all through which was reflected in his positive movement. Jet coat, bright tan just gleamed in the sun. Took the class with his self-assured outlook.
2 Boyd’s Drumhaye Celebrity at Airlie
Striking young blen dog with a most pleasing head, large limpid eyes well cushioned foreface and correct nose length. Well made all through with good rib and rounded “cooks” bottom. Ample beautifully marked coat, not as confident as winner, though settled later in the class.
3 Rollins & Poundford’s Poundroll Golden Affinity
Res Smith’s Beaudale Hearts On Fire
VHC Finney’s Anberan Pumpkin Spice at Sylklands
Junior (13, 4)
1 MacAlpine’s Blairburn Bracken with Annatika
lovely blen dog, who with luck should have a bright future, for me fits the standard so well with no exaggeration. Lovely head nicely set on ear, jet pigmentation and gentle expression. Spot on for size and movement, super topline, happy outlook, well marked coat excellently presented.
2 Hughes’ Loranka's Just Like Heaven
Another eye catching blen boy of good breed type, well set ear, lovely gentle eye. Nice to handle on the table, well balanced throughout, liked his size and shape, short coupled, good topline and stifle, although his movement was good, not quite as positive as 1. Unlucky to meet winner on such good form.
3 Sidgwick’s Paulian Kittihawk
Res Inglis’ Craigowl Santana
VHC Li’s Avalcier Nemesis
Yearling (6, 2)
1 Bull’s Craigowl Boss
Tri dog who took this class on his overall balance, super neck and shoulder. Masculine head , dark gentle eye. An easy mover who showed well. Nicely marked jacket.
2 Steel’s Behabre Sheer Obsession
Another well presented and marked tri boy with lovely tan. Different type to 1. Preferred the short couplings on this dog and although nicely put together he didn’t have the balance or movement of winner.
3 Hedger’s Arnie Adorable at Alrewic
Res Chattaway’s Milkeyn Sheer Charm
Novice (8, 2)
1 Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Phoenix
Super blen put down to perfection, with pretty head, though ideally I would have preferred slightly more foreface, flat skull, correct ear set, and beautiful large lustrous eye. Ample neck and proud head carriage, excellent rib, short loin, moved with purpose. RDCC, just had the extra oomph over.

2 Hughes’ Loranka's Aramis
Another very pleasing typy blen boy from this kennel. Eye catching shape and size and spot on for movement, just preferred the eye of winner. Good balance, well marked coat in pristine condition, showed well.

2 Rogerson’s Rabymar Courageous Heart

Res Leach’s Ouzlewell Lord Chamberlain
VHC Cockburn’s Phylmars Robin Hood
Mid Limit (7, 1)
1 Levy & Sedgwick’s Pascavale Jamie JW
CC, and with my co-judges agreement BOB - small compact blen boy with clean outline, good bone and super rib, built on similar lines to rdcc, who I later discovered is his son. Again would have liked a little more length to his nose but the overall package more than compensated for this. Open expression with gorgeous large lustrous eye, good ear set, flat skull, jet pigmentation. Lovely balance, super arched neck, proud head carriage, spirit level topline. Moved with purpose and enthusiasm. Looked a picture in the sunlight with his long, straight gleaming coat, just what a toy spaniel should be, alert with gently wagging tail, his attitude completed the picture. Shortlisted in the group.
2 Surman’s Allrena About Turn to Vallender
Blen dog nicely put together, handles well on the table. Lovely gentle, well cushioned head, set with large dark round eye, Moved soundly as one would expect from his conformation.
3 Crane’s Cranvarl Royal Star Struck
Res Steel’s Behabre Burberry Touch
VHC Bull’s Ladash Bramble JW ShCM
Limit (10, 0)
1 Rix & Berry’s Ricksbury Royal Tradition JW
This blen just oozes breed type, a fabulous head, has a wonderful soft expression from the loveliest of dark round limpid eyes, good earset, excellent pigment and just the right amount of cushioning. Loved his size and shape, beautifully balanced he excells in neck, shoulder and topline and tailset. Adeptly presented, the whole topped with a richly coloured well marked, quality coat.
2 Angell’s Charwelton Tate JW
Blen unlucky to meet winner and one of a few that sported a lozenge. Again well made throughout, nicely proportioned, though not quite the neck of 1. Moved soundly however I felt the heat was just getting to him.
3 Barraclough’s Juette New Tricks
Res Hunter’s Spennithorne Justin Thyme ShCM
VHC  Loynd’s Crimbledale Cotton Trader
Open (5, 1)
1 Baker & Park’s Ch Keyingham Branwell
What else can be said about this lovely blen that hasn’t already been documented, a dog I have long admired from the ringside. A true toy spaniel with so much going for him, lovely head, dark round eye, extremely well made all through, but excels in neck, shoulder and topline, an enthusiastic showman, all in all the complete package. Although ample coat, not quite the bloom of my CC/Res CC winners.
2 Claydon’s Ch Brymarden Montana JW
Another worthy Ch, and all male. A size larger than 1, though shorter coupled. Lovely well cushioned head, set with large dark eye, good pigment. Again has a super arched neck and proud head carriage, excellent shoulder and topline. Body condition was A1 and movement spot on.
3 Jones’ Ch Timsar Mister Moonlighter
Res Hughes’ Loranka's Enchanting JW

Another strong class. Very confident and typical little blenheim bitch, heavily marked but lovely rich chestnut and so much to like in conformation and balance. Showed beautifully in this class but not giving her all in the challenge.
2 Smith & Aldous’ Aranel Scrumptious
Elegant and so pretty and correct, gorgeous head, well broken silky coat with lots of feathering, moved well but just not as confident today as I have seen her.
3 Pagan’s Kimark Mi Amiga of Sorata
