Bitches  Mrs S Waters
My thanks to the committee of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club for inviting me to judge at what I think is the world’s most renowned cavalier show the “Club Show”.
I was delighted with the overall quality of the bitches entered and thrilled with my final line up of class winners, who I felt epitomised true cavalier quality. My impressions from the show being that Cavaliers of today are a wholesome, healthy group of dogs who have become more uniform in breed type, shape and size. On the quality of the dogs shown today I feel we can only be optimistic of the future.
Presentation was in nearly every case excellent as were temperaments. My only negative observations being that I felt several exhibits were a little soft in condition, and lacking muscle tone. Ear placement was a concern with low set ears becoming prevalent, a trait which is both untypical and undesirable.
Thanks must also go to my two efficient and unassuming stewards who organised the running of the ring so efficiently.
BIS was Ch Beauella Radzinsky J.W, BOS and RBIS was Ch Brymarden Moon River J.W .
