Dogs Mrs T Jackson
I took over this appointment after the sad loss of Mrs Molly Coaker. It was not a strong entry numerically, due to there being a Club Ch show the following day in Northern Ireland. I know both shows suffered with entries due to this. I was pleased with my line up, I have mentioned to the Secretary that I think there are too many classes scheduled at this show & that a few could be taken off. One thing I will mention re handling, and I have said this before, please don’t bait your dog on the table as it is so difficult to see a dog’s expression when he is either chewing food or straining to look around the judge for more titbits. Also many dogs in the younger classes did not want their mouths looked at, this needs to be addressed.

Bitches Mrs C Knight
I was delighted to be asked to judge this my first Championship show and thank all the exhibitors who paid a lot of money in these times of constraint to allow me the privilege of assessing their cavalier bitches. I am honoured and pleased to say that almost all of the bitches had good dentition and were clean & well groomed. There were some who need to have more structured exercise as they were very close in hind action when moving away. However, all my class winners & most of my placings were very sound and I was very pleased with my final line up. I had a memorable day & thank you so much everyone.
