I would like to thank the committee for this my first appointment giving tickets. I enjoyed judging at this well run show and thank my stewards who kept the ring moving, enabling my BOB to reach the group on time. Many thanks to all the exhibitors who entered their dogs and there were plenty of quality dogs to choose from, a few having to go cardless today. I found on the whole that the dogs were better than bitches although there were some nice puppies coming up. I feel the eye size and shape is lacking in some but that said all my winners did not lack in this department. I was pleased to see both my BOB and BPIB shortlisted for the group.

Litter brother to 1 and nearly all the same applies. His expression is not quite as soft as 1 and not as well broken but in all 2 really nice youngsters.

1st Ireland’s Charnell Jameson
Just a year old but already looking very promising. This blen dog has plenty of breed type. He has a head almost flat between the ears which are set on correctly and he uses them to his advantage. Large dark eyes in a pretty head with just the right amount of filling giving a gentle expression. Good neck leading to well laid shoulders a level back and well carried tail. He flowed around the ring moving with drive and stood four square. All topped off with a lovely rich coloured coat. I was pleased to award him RCC.
2nd Cunningham’s Verheyen Dustin
Another tri with excellent clarity of coat. Pretty head, well placed ears and filled muzzle. Correctly put together and kept a level topline both on the move and standing. A quality exhibit.

What a little star! Beautiful black & tan with a very pretty head, the required dark limpid eyes, just enough filling under the eyes and well tapered muzzle. Her ears were well feathered and framed the head perfectly. She has good front assembly and a length of leg that was balanced to the length of back. A good turn of stifle and well let down hocks which she used to drive round the ring. Finished off with a raven black coat and bright tan in all the right places. In the line up she stood out and I was pleased to award her the CC.
