I would like to thank the Cavaliers Club for asking me to judge the December 2016 Club Open Show. My hat is off to the show committee who secured a great venue, did an amazing job of putting together fantastic menu and to top it off there was such festive Christmas Cheer. There was a lot of quality in many of the classes with many deserving winners.

1st Davies’ Salegreen Brecon
The perfect size and shape with strong rear angles that he put to good use on the move, this fellow glided around the ring, covering ground with ease. His moderate head was well cushioned with a very pleasing expression. Just the type called for in the breed standard. I strongly considered this boy for top honors. I was pleased to award him Best Puppy Dog.
2nd Watts’ Jamesbonny Josey Wales
Another beautiful puppy with beautiful breed type. Standing and on the move, it was easy to see that he was well put together with proper structure and balance. He is another puppy that I believe has a bright future ahead.
3rd Lewis’ Carleeto I’m A Believer

1st Homes’ Leogem Renaissance
He caught my eye as he entered the ring – perfectly balanced in lovely coat. He has very nice layback of shoulder creating an elegant appearance standing and on the move, transitioning to a level topline, which made for a lovely profile on the move. All of this was topped off by the most handsome head that reminded so much of his great grandfather CH Pascavale Enchanted. For me, he was the total package. I was happy to award him Best Dog. Best In Show.
