Thank you to the Humberside Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club for inviting me to judge this show and to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs under me. It was a such an enjoyable day, the show ran smoothly and the atmosphere was lovely, thank you to my very efficient stewards for their help too. I was very pleased with my line up, especially the bitches as there were some quality girls entered.

Lovely 8 month old blen boy, with soft expression, good pigment and correct dentition. Well balanced body with good angles front and rear, nicely boned. Moved and showed well keeping a well carried tail. BPD, RBPIS
2nd Slack’s Kinvaar Jumping Jack Flash at Eversbabes
6 month blen boy of nice size with a pleasing head, less mature than one, just needs a little more time.

1st Bloice’s Scotlass Solitaire Man
Well constructed, 10 month old blen boy of good size. Nicely marked and well boned, but was a little all over the place, just needs a bit more practice.
Junior (5, 2)  
1st Potter’s Toyswood Moonage Daydream
This rich, ruby boy showed like a dream, on his toes and really enjoying his day. Flat skull, correctly set ears and large, round eyes giving pleasing expression, level topline and correctly set tail. Good neck and shoulders and well angulated rear.
2nd Rix’s Ricksberry Poldark JW
Blen boy of 18 months, attractive head with lovely pigment and large, round dark eyes. Excellent lay of shoulder and well angulated rear, a very nice boy, but just lacked a little animation today.
3rd Hindle’s Spindlepoint Dovovan at Ellisiana

1st Smith’s Beaudale Rusty Dusty Blues
Attractive ruby boy who scores well for a lovely crested, neck and well laid back shoulders. Kept his topline at all times and moved with drive from well turned stifles. Very well presented.

1st Ackroyd-Gibson’s Toraylac Valentino
Attractive blen boy of nice size, with soft expression, large dark eyes and excellent pigment. Short coupled body with nice depth of brisket and well set tail. Moved well keeping a level topline.

Handsome blen boy with well broken markings and flat, silky coat. Melting expression, well cushioned muzzle and lovely large round, dark eyes. Well laid shoulders and correct length of loin, very good turn of stifle. Happy temperament, moved and showed well. RBD
2nd Lister’s Roll Of The Dice to Cachevell
Pleasing blen boy who excelled in movement, moved round the ring with such drive keeping a level topline. Correctly carried tail.

Smart b/t boy of ideal size who stood 4 square, wagging his tail, such a lovely profile. Generous head, with well set ears and gentle expression. Short coupled body with good spring of rib, correct reach of neck and well angulated rear. Rich tans and lovely, silky flat coat, very well presented. BD, BOS, RBIS
2nd Hobbs’ Beaconsfylde Catch The Kiss JW ShCM
Larger, handsome blen boy, with soft expression and excellent pigment. Moved very well with level topline and correctly carried tail.
3rd Kynaston’s Granasil Golden Nugget

Short coupled rich, ruby boy of perfect size with attractive head and good reach of neck, nicely sprung ribs. Beautifully presented in gleaming condition, moved and showed well.
2nd Whitfield’s Bevelmount Red Beaujolais JW
Another nice ruby boy, with large, dark eyes and good pigment. Well constructed throughout with profuse coat, level topline and well set tail. Sound mover with happy temperament.

Elegant blen girl of 8 months. Very pretty head with gentle expression, lovely large dark eyes and very good pigment. Well laid shoulders leading to a level topline and nicely turned stifles. Broken markings and balanced body. Carried herself well as she moved gracefully around the ring. Later discovered she is litter sister to my BDP. I wish her breeder lots of luck with these 2 lovely puppies BPIS.
2nd Ackroyd-Gibson’s Toraylac Veronica
Eye-catching, well marked tricolour of 7 months. Pretty head and very well balanced body. Well laid back shoulders and good reach of neck. She was a little unsure to begin with, but became more confident as the class progressed. Good bone and substance for one so small, she just needs to grow a little more and will be a lovely puppy.

Exuberant ruby bitch of 10 months. Attractive head, with well set ears and well cushioned muzzle, correct dentition. She is a lovely size and has a nice depth of brisket and good bone. Moved well with plenty of animation.

Very pretty 17 months b/t bitch, lovely dark, round eyes and feminine expression. Good rich tans and flat, silky coat. Nice reach of neck and compact body, moved and showed well.
2nd Callaghan & Todd’s Ellemich Parisienne at Callyspride JW
Another very nice bitch with a well balanced outline. Attractive head with good pigment, nicely constructed. Moved well, close up to one.

Another nice bitch who was being a little naughty on the day. Attractive head with nice broad, flat skull and large, round dark eyes. Good reach of neck and well laid shoulders, moved well keeping a level topline and correctly carried tail.

Elegant blen bitch with a lovely outline. Beautiful, feminine head with soft expression. Excellent neck and shoulders, level topline and well angulated rear. Parallel mover who showed well, just needs a little more coat to complete the picture.
2nd Claydon’s Ellemich Infusion JW
Another quality girl who was just slightly longer cast than 1. Very pretty head with excellent pigment. Close up to 1.

No one told this girl she is 13 years old! She showed like a youngster and was attentive to her handler. Ideally sized, compact b/t bitch who really did not look her age. Pretty head, correct neck and shoulders and level topline with correctly set tail. Moved well, really enjoying her day out. BVIS

11 years of age, another lovely girl who was full of enthusiasm, very pretty head and well balanced body. Close up to 1
