Scottish Cavalier KCS Club MRI Scanning Day
Tuesday 20th (and Thursday 22nd) April 2010
The Scottish CKCSC club have organised one day (or possibly two if there is enough demand) of low cost MRI scanning with Geoff Skerritt at Chestergates Referral Hospital on Tuesday 20th (and Thursday 22nd) April 2010.Priority will be given to Scottish Club members until Monday 22nd March but non members are welcome to apply thereafter. All bookings to be confirmed by 12th April. The cost will be £125 per dog. All dogs now have to be microchipped or otherwise permanently identified before scanning - this can be done on the day for £21.89. World Wide Walk for Cavalier Health
13th June 2010
Humberside CKCS Club have now launched the advertising for the "WWW for Cavalier Health" to be held on Sunday 13th June at the Championship Show. This is something that everyone can join in either by joining them on the day, arranging a walk for your regional club, arranging a walk between friends, or making a pledge. The Humberside Club are hoping that all Cavalier Clubs world wide will help them raise the profile of Cavaliers and at the same time raising more funds for on going research. Details, posters and pledge forms are attached below or are available by contacting Linda Flynn at Linjato@btconnect.com. Please print off a poster take it to your veterinary surgery and local pet shop asking if they will display it. Club Secretaries in the UK can contact Linda who will send posters and forms for display at shows. Lets all get together and make this the largest dog walk in the world. Everyone can join in, no matter where you are. |
