It has been brought to our attention that inappropriate use has been made by some people on social media platforms which conflicts with our membership values.

Please note the Club’s direction from the Code of Best Practice, quote.
  • Members should conduct themselves at all times in a manner that is a credit to the Club and ownership of Cavaliers. Members should not use any method of communication whatsoever in a way that could be considered defamatory, insulting, or detrimental to another member, or the Club, or to the breed.
Please follow this by.
  • Always demonstrate good sportsmanship.
  • Never degrade another member or a member’s dog.
  • Avoid publicly discussing Club business in a damaging and harmful way.
  • Use positive constructive language and never use an aggressive tone in any communications.
These platforms are far reaching, a personal opinion sent from the safety of your keyboard can have damaging consequence to members, others, and indeed, our breed.

We also draw your attention to the Kennel Club Code of Conduct on their website Kennel Club Code of Conduct.

We are still fortunate to preserve and care for our Cavaliers that enrich the lives of so many. Please act in accordance with the principal that we all want to be treated fairly. Let us all enjoy our activity in a respectful, positive, healthy way.
