This ruby boy is to me a true Toy Spaniel. He is the correct size, is cobby in body & presents a square outline. He was exhibited in top condition & in full coat & he caught my eye the moment he entered the ring carrying his head high & proud on a slightly arched neck of moderate length, which is set into a good lay of shoulder. He has a level topline & good driving movement & correct tail carriage. His head is what I desire in a Cavalier being flat in skull, having large dark & expressive eyes with good cushioning & not too long in the muzzle with a black nose. He has a good spring of rib & is short coupled with a level topline. His soundness in both front & rear quarters allowed him the drive & parallel movement lacking in many on the day. Pleased to award him the CC & later BOB. |
