Dogs Mrs M Attwood (Clentview)
I was so proud and honoured to be able to award CC’s for the first time at this lovely show, set in the prettiest of locations, Kelso. I would like to thank the committee for giving me this opportunity and for their hospitality on the day.
On the whole I was pleased with my class winners but it needs to be said that movement and construction isn’t what it was and we are not getting the quality of dogs that we saw in the ring in years gone by. We all need to get back to breeding well constructed dogs that live up to the breed standard and to do this we need to be more critical on our own show dogs and our breeding stock.
