Dog Results Bitch Results Breeders Competition
I acted as referee in the Cavalier ring between two blens, the 2 years old dog, Miletree Montesuma of Londoncor & the 6 years old bitch, Ch Kaidee Kiss Me Kate Khatibi. I could instantly see the difficulty as they struck me as extremes of their respective types, accentuated by the age gap, whereby the breed ideal would be somewhere between the two! Loved the flowing body lines of the bitch & felt the dog needed no more condition so as not to become too ‘cloddy’. Preferred his head type particularly through the muzzle. Both went well behind. He came on the cleanest, was in the bloom of youth & outmoved the bitch in profile. But the breed specific that did it for me was the relative length of leg which has become something of an issue, to my mind, these last few years.

Minor Puppy (7 Entries, 1 Absent)
1st Godwin’s Karaime Charmer at Simpatico
Happy youngster with a very nice head and expression with sufficient width between the ears and round, dark eyes spaced well apart. Muzzle not too long, lips well developed, no suggestion of snipiness and correct teeth and bite. Slight arch to neck, good spring of rib, short loin and level topline. Good rear angulation, moved and showed ok.
2nd Hughes’ Loranka’s Edge Of Heaven
Highset ears framing the head, correct bite, but at this point in time appearing slightly long in muzzle, which also affected the expression. Well laid shoulders, level topline, moderate bone but at the moment slightly long in body. Showed well so hopefully things will balance out as he grows up.

These first two could easily change places, though I preferred the topline of this one today. Compact with arched neck, well sprung ribs, short loin and level topline. Good black nose, correct bite and large, dark, round eyes. Positive temperament, moved well with good drive behind and no suggestion of heaviness either in appearance or movement.

Attractive masculine head with large dark round eyes and correct bite.Good outline and a pleasure to watch him moving around the ring displaying excellent free reach and drive. Slightly weak in pasterns, but could perhaps tighten up with more exercise.
2nd Hobbs’ Beaconsfylde Fade To Black
Very well presented B/T with level topline and correct tail-set and carriage. Good straight forelegs and moderate bone. I hope that I was not deceived by the coat colour, but to me his eyes seemed slightly smaller than I would prefer.

This boy and the Limit winner reminded me of each other very much and happy to award this one the Reserve CC.

Lovely alert dog with compact outline, level back, sufficient width right through without being heavy and correct tailset and carriage. Slightly arched neck carrying very attractive head with large, dark, expressive eyes, well developed lips and correct bite. Enough width of skull between high-set ears. Moved with balanced reach and drive.
2nd Cracknell’s Sorata Bertie ShCM
Very well presented coat, strong topline despite being slightly longer in loin. Well proportioned head, correct bite, but again with a B/T, I kept thinking the eyes could be a little larger. Positive, cheerful showman with very good movement.
