I would like to thank the Committee for the opportunity to judge this lovely show – their hospitality was greatly appreciated as was my Steward’s support in keeping things moving along. I would also like to thank exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to assess some quality dogs.

1st Mynott’s Honeybet My Way
BVD Lovely Ruby, 10 years old. Deep rich colour and coat in good condition. Masculine head with large round eyes and good pigment. He is well made and of a neat size, moved and showed well. Pleased to award him Best Veteran Dog.
2nd McHugh’s Master Horatio
13 year old tricolor who was enjoying his day out with his young handler. Larger cast boy than 1 but with nice head and eye, well coated. He moved out well for his age.
Minor Puppy
1st Godwin’s Cavaliegh Ice Man
BPD and BPIS A well marked 7 month old boy. Lovely head with dark eyes and lovely pigment. He is well made with a correct lay of shoulder which leads into a nice body which is topped with a quality coat even at this tender age. He moves out with style and just a hint of cheeky bum wriggling which just adds to his appeal – I am sure he will appeal to many more in his career. Very pleased to award him Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Show.
2nd Godwin’s Karaime Charmer at Simpatico
Another nice well marked exhibit that was well presented. He showed well and looked good both standing and moving. Masculine head with nice eyes and good pigment.
3rd Rhodes’ Calonlan Corona
Puppy
1st Rhodes’ Calonlan Corona
3rd in MP dog and stood alone here. He is a well marked Blenheim boy who is well made throughout enabling him to move out when settled. He has a nice head with a good dark eye and nice pigment. Good coat coming through which was well presented, as were all exhibits from this kennel. A quality exhibit but one I would just prefer a size smaller.

Special Graduate Blenheim
1st Maclaine’s Lochbuie Keswick
BD and BOS Very smart Blenheim boy who also played the glamour card. Nice shaped head with a lovely, almost smiling expression. Nice eyes which were dark to match his pigment. His wealth of well presented silky coat topped a well made neat and compact body. He moved round the ring well although his exuberance at times did slightly effect his movement but once settled he proved he could move well and even in the heat he did not flag in the challenge. Very pleased to award him Best Dog and Best Opposite Sex.
2nd Bryant’s Ellemich Bugsy Malone at Lucanico
Another quality boy although slightly larger cast than the winner. Handsome boy with a nice head round eyes and a nice expression. Wealth of well presented clean coat of good quality. He moved and showed well.

Special Graduate Black & Tan
1st Cracknell’s Sorata Henly Wet Socks
Handsome boy headed this class and won on maturity – as I liked both boys in the class. He was presented well and his raven coat gleamed in the sun. A well constructed boy with a good head and nice eye. He presented a good picture both on the move and standing.
2nd Williams’ Sancana Daddy Cool
Another nice boy just lacking the maturity and finish of one. Again he has an attractive head with nice expressive eyes. Nicely constructed with a level topline and the ability to stride out across the ring. I am sure these two will swap places on many occasions in the future.
